Vanessa + Jonathan

Wedding at Trout Lake In Stroudsburg, PA

On Septemeber 22nd, Vanessa and Jonathan said their “I Do's” at the beautiful Trout Lake Resort in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. I started the day with Vanessa and her bridesmaids, drinking champagne and trying not to let their mascara run with how beautiful she was.

Venturing my way to the nearby cabins I found the guys, laughing and joking around dawning their superhero socks and cufflinks.

The couple had their First Look on the nearby floating docks. As Vanessa saw her soon to be husband, tears of joy rolled down her cheek and glistened like the rays of sunshine on the lake itself. In the distance, you could hear the groomsmen hooting and hollering with excitement.

An instrumental version Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’ accompanied the beautiful bride as she walked down the lake’s edge to meet her husband-in-waiting. The rest of the day was filled with great laughter, tears of joy, and even a championship belt.

Angel + Matt

Angel and Matt's Wedding was a last minute affair. I agreed to shoot Angel's wedding, not a month before, but the scheduled date was TBD. I got a call about a week and a half prior to the date they chose.  Everything was last minute including her dress - arriving with Amazon two day shipping just days before the wedding. Things were thrown together just moments up until the ceremony, but you would never know.

They wanted to get married before the new year a didn't want a big grand church wedding, but they wanted something different. The breathtaking views from One Liberty observation deck was chosen as a backdrop for the ceremony. At 883 feet above the streets of Philly, with a 360-degree view of the city's skyline, they said their I Dos in front crowd of no more than 50 people.

Just missing being the first marriage on the observation deck by 2 weeks, Angel was fortunate enough to be the first bride to be married up there. Here are only a handful of shots from that day.
